Yellow Brick Road Fiction is the home to my collective fictional works. I have been interested in writing fiction since the age of eleven. As I moved through adolescence, writing became a passionate hobby and I continued penning fictional works well into my early adulthood. From the age of 12 up until I was about 21, I was a passionate member of the Hanson fan fiction community and had written a collection of popular fan fiction novellas. I spent most of my adult life trying to get away from my subconscious desire to turn every fictional character into Taylor Hanson and I considered it a great personal triumph, the day that I realized I had the power to overcome that urge. I know that sounds really stupid and, trust me, I don’t blame you but I put a lot of heart and soul into that genre. I think of it as a jumping off point to a much broader horizon. Although I am unpublished and, virtually unknown outside of a small Internet community, I would love to someday write and publish a novel – preferably within the young adult or “chick literature” genres. I would also love to someday write a memoir, the theme currently undecided. Some of my favorite authors are Jeffrey Eugenides, Janet Fitch, Jodi Piccoult, Judy Blume, J.K. Rowling, Stephanie Klein, and Tom Perrotta.
